Who said that your work life should be dull? Maintaining a strictly professional behavior for most of the day is not the way to spend the best part of your daily life. And, let’s be honest about it, whether we like it or not, 9 to 5 is the best time of the day. Blending work life with some humor will not affect your bank accounts –if you recognize that there are limits; however, it will benefit your mental health for sure! The coffee maker that takes a lot of credit!

For most of us, the living area of our office premises is probably a small kitchen room with space for two to three people –tops - and just the very necessary appliances. No affluence there, unless you are working for Google which has been known to be a working paradise! This company’s coffee maker seems to have broken down, yet if you are enjoying your time at work, this issue will not bring you down. As you can see, what started as a note ended up being a nice pun! We hope these two colleagues work together as well as humor each other!
A good spell-checker is not in his portfolio

Ah, the occasional motivational notices that often appear in offices and try to cheer us up! Yet, we must admit we have never seen a poster as funny as this one! It looked like a good idea to count the sarcasm-free days within the working environment, however, they seem to be at the very start and not doing so well! We do not know who the designer of this poster is or if he had dreams about keeping the office sarcasm-free for a significant amount of days but it seems that not proof-reading your prints leads to the exact opposite of what you're trying to achieve!
Do you get a paycheck cut for not ticking?

We kind of feel for the original poster’s intention in this case. It has definitely happened to a lot of us - to visit the restroom in our office and realize that nasty things had happened right before we entered, right? And to be fair, we are going to work in the hope of bettering our savings accounts and not cleaning up after others. These co-workers, though, seem to totally comply with the wishes of the poster and they are checking indeed! We are afraid, though, that the X might have taken it too literally!
No key, no milk!

And this is the extremes someone who wants a cup of milk at work would go in order to ensure that his milk carton will wait for him in the fridge the next morning! Of course, no one will declare bankruptcy because someone else drank their milk but, we must admit, it is very annoying going to the fridge with the desire to eat or drink something you brought to work and not finding it where it is supposed to be! We are not sure how a lock would work in this situation but it is probably just a matter of being able to distinguish whose milk that is.
Mr. Bean is watching you!

This prank must have been orchestrated by a colleague who is concerned about your restroom visits! We bet his ultimate purpose is for you to understand what your real reason for visiting the toilet was in case you were mistaken in the first place! Just imagine, doing your thing while having a fairly scary Mr. Bean staring at you like this! We bet this photo brings a smile to your face, yet we can’t help but imagine how scared we would be had we been in there ourselves! We can think of a few instances where it would be of help, though!
Missing cat is it's own reward?

No, no one needs to call animal rescue services or go out looking for a cat! This is just a very smart office poster by someone who needed to lighten up the day of his co-workers. The message prepares the reader for a story of someone who lost his pet, yet we are probably talking about a very proud owner here - or maybe someone who wants to make fun of his cat! At least two of his colleagues followed his lead even though we don’t think the cat would find this photo of it flattering…
And the credit for creativity goes to...

If there were awards for creativity in the office – not the serious ones though - we would definitely give it to the guy who decided to “burn” the original poster. It seems that someone, possibly the manager, is trying to save some money, thus, has asked the employees to be mindful of their photocopying. It is not something that we haven’t heard before. However, not all of us interpret the word Jobs in the same way! As you can see, this smart and creative employee decided to print Steve Jobs in a full A4 sheet! We bet if it was in color, the manager would be furious!
Smells like passive-aggressiveness!

We have to give it to the original poster-maker; he has a sense of humor as well, signing as passive-aggressive under his message! And we tend to feel for him as, really, no one enjoys the smell of thrown away food, especially if you are walking in the kitchen room to grab something to eat! It’s not as if you have the option to eat in a luxurious restaurant at your lunch break but that does not mean that the office kitchen should be smelly! However, the co-worker’s come back had us laughing so hard that we wouldn’t mind a little ketchup essence!
No printer no cry!

Imagine the frustration of being at work, most probably in a rush and your printer keeps on destroying your copies – or simply refuses to print anything. People working in offices where hard copies are essential on a daily basis, definitely know what we are talking about (and not getting the print job you need, especially when you have clients waiting, causes some anxiety!). However, it seems that in this office is a colleague we all would love to work with; the guy who decided to lighten up the atmosphere with smart humor!
Not exactly a good business plan!

Having a printed timetable stapled somewhere near your desk makes life so much easier! You do not forget what it is that you have to do to receive your paycheck at the end of the month and your colleagues are also aware of your whereabouts and doings. Right? This employee thought that he should spice things up and he had his own –and quite unique - timetable posted at his office to give his partners a laugh (or he is just being very, very sincere!). We don’t know which one of the two stands but it definitely made us laugh, too!
Charged to whose account?

Are you the kind of guy who storms into the kitchen or the pantry area right before the lunch break and claims food in the fridge even if it doesn't belong to you? Because this is a quite common case, especially in offices with many employees; there is always one who prefers to receive free meals as an… investment of sorts! We suppose that there is one in the office where this picture was taken from, yet his colleagues felt they needed to face the perpetrator with some humor! Anyone for a free chicken strip today? Two seem to be interested!
You were warned!

If you are working in an office behind closed doors, it is probably because your kind of job requires you to be uninterrupted by it. We, personally, feel that tapping on someone’s door glass, especially when they are in deep concentration, is as annoying as tapping at someone’s back. And, as we all know, programmers always have a great sense of humor; and it must be quite effective in this case! However, if we were them, then we would probably erase the irritating people’s iCloud instead! Or do you think that would be being overly dramatic?
The purrfect portfolio!

We all have one friend or co-worker that is an animal lover –at least - and it is a frequent phenomenon for cat lovers to express their affection for their fluffy friends more than any other. And we can understand how a pet is indeed an actual member of the family, and as such, it might be in a few people’s offices in a photo frame. However, it seems that this guy has taken his love for cats in a whole other level! We have to say, though, that our favorite is the grumpy one by the Christmas ornaments. If it was a day of the week, it would be a Monday!
Ben must be getting the highest paycheck...

So, we can’t help but wonder who Ben is and why this restroom is named after him (maybe he's the genius who's getting the most pay!). We make a lot of stories about what happened in this office’s toilet. Maybe Ben spends a lot of time in there because he has irritable bowel syndrome or he prefers to spend his breaks in there because he's not sociable. It could also be that he is the only male in the office and thus, there is no reason why the toilets are not named after him! Whatever it is, if Ben is as humorous as his co-workers, we bet he had quite a laugh at this!
Don't come knocking at my door!

We don’t really know what state of mental health this guy was in when he thought of building a small house out of cartons while at work, but we must say we are rather jealous of him and his freedom (except if the guy at the picture is the manager or the CEO!). No matter what, this employee thought that he would be more productive if he was feeling at home and so he created a little replica. Or maybe he just wanted his privacy and thus, devised a way to hide under the cartons until the end of his shift!
Uh oh, someone's not getting a raise!

Is that a red wine stain on the carpet, there? Or maybe we are too imaginative and it is just an accident with a mug filled with coffee! No matter what the liquid is, it seems that this employee has a great imagination as he saw a cat where everyone else just saw a blotch! And so he used a marker and show everyone what was evident in his eyes. We just hope that when the cleaning crew comes, it is not going to be too difficult for them to clean the marker stain, too! Otherwise, the boss might want to know who was responsible for ruining the carpet!
Power Rangers are making money, too!

Is this what they mean when they say that the dress code in the company is business casual? Where are the old times where the employees needed to be dressed in suits and strictly professional attire? It seems that this does not apply to IT-oriented jobs or this photo was taken on the office wash day! On the other hand, maybe these guys are just too eccentric for us to understand and they have taken the saying “dress for the job you want” a little too literally! We wouldn’t want them in any other clothes anyway!
Message approved!

The next one is one of those funny spelling mistakes that are made fun of and offer great opportunities for some laughter within the office corridors. It seems that people in this office kept on disrespecting the board where the management was supposed to put notices on and so they got a fierce notice back! However, the humorous employees felt like a little fun was in order when they noticed the spelling mistake and took it upon themselves to come back with a witty answer! Technically, they did nothing wrong. We are wondering if during Christmas time the 'manger' is decorated, too!
Thumbs-up to the guy who takes the credit for this snap!

This could have been a picture taken by a professional photographer but even if it is staged by a couple of employees, it is still hilarious! It seems that the guy who took the picture is a baby hippo lover in this case, and his colleague is just clueless about his photo-bombing! We do not have anything but respect for these people that find a glimpse of creativity and humor at the end of a difficult day at work. Or they were just playing around as they did not have anything else to do? Who knows? We just know that their end product is killing it!
Recreation in a whole different level!

There are companies that believe that the ideal environment for their employees, in order to work to the best of their ability and be productive is to provide them with some sort of a recreation during their breaks. It is a way of avoiding bankruptcy from demotivated employees! However, there are others that do not invest in such practices – like this one - and so, the employees took it upon themselves to create a place where they could let off steam. The one who threw the ball by the telephone mustn’t be that good at golf, though!
Whose this food isn't!

Ah, Debbie! It seems to us that you are that kind of co-worker who does not recognize her own food or believes that everything that lies in the fridge is for communal purposes! It is funny, though, how no one ever looks at it as a loan. Maybe when someone takes your food you can ask them to bring something to you the next day, with some… interest on top! These people did not think of that idea but instead, they decided to write whose food this is not! There’s a lot of milk for Debbie, though!
Easy peasy

There are good days and there are bad days. Days where you need to focus on your business plans and projects and others that you can have a small chit chat on the side. However, don’t you hate it, too, when people come to you with pointless questions about things you are not supposed to know (or care about) while you are concentrated in front of your screen trying to meet an important deadline? This guy found a way to avoid questions about where his colleague is in a very formal and professional way and we love it!
Even if they have the money to buy their own mug...

Folks, if you bring your own mug at work and you do not safe keep it in your personal drawer or on your desk or somewhere away from the communal kitchen room, you know it is going to be used by others! Especially if it is a cute one, such as this one with the reindeers! You make sure it is a dull one, with no images, ornaments or smart sayings or it is sure to catch somebody’s eye as if it were gold! At least these colleagues are truthful about their actions and they are the kind of people who will offer the compliment as well!
A rare species of employees

Just imagine this being a day that the office gets audited either by the management or a client and they walk in to see a bunch of dinos minding their own business in front of their screens! Nevertheless, this is probably a bring-your-costume day at the office and we cannot imagine the laughs these guys had whenever anyone entered their premises. We also love the touch of their suits’ jackets hanging from the chairs! We just hope that they have good injury insurance as walking in this costume does not seem very easy.
Does that mean that he has the highest salary?

If this company makes castles for children's parties or offers catering to the whole organization, then this marketing consultant is spot on! We would definitely hire the team! In the end, if you do not advertise your product within the premises of the company, then what would your future clients have as a sample of your work? Now, if this is not the case then, maybe this employee is the manager and decided to have a distinct office or he just wants to live his work life as a fairy tale, waiting for his princess to come and take him out for a lunch break!
We need more green spaces in our office!

Decorating your own space at work is one thing and then this… is a whole new level of expression! We bet the manager said that the employees can feel free to decorate their desk however they wanted and this one took it one step ahead! This nature-loving worker who is dedicated to safeguarding the environment should maybe consider a career as an interior designer instead and start decorating his colleagues’ cubicles, too! We bet he would go for sustainable materials, recycling bins under every desk, and maybe a greenhouse in the reception.
Unlucky Kevin

Remember when we were discussing the phenomenon of food disappearing from the fridge in the office kitchen and people who just can’t help not eating the food of their colleagues? Well, this guy had the audacity of being sarcastic about it – or he is just a prankster who loves teasing his co-workers! It seems that many tried to save their slices of pizza or salads – or tuna sandwiches - by putting them in a package with their name on top, but of course, we all know this doesn’t work. Maybe you should try laxatives next time?
Pushing one's credit card limit with too many balls

Sometimes, you do not need flowers and fancy presents; you only need nice co-workers with a great sense of humor to make your special day even more special! And we kind of envy this guy, who got to spend his birthday at work with fancy flags hanging over his cubicle, balloons in many colors, and loads and loads of plastic little balls! We would recommend adding a plushie castle next time, even though things look perfect as they are! We hope he bought food for everyone for their lunch break or they had some giant cake altogether!
When you value your health...

First of all, this office has a whole spoon drawer in their kitchen room! And apart from that, there is a large spoon to spoon little spoons which they call a spoon scoop! Maybe the whole office is on a diet and they are eating only yogurts and soup! Or this company has a self-service catering buffet. Apart from laughing at the spoon scoop and the spoon drawer, though, we totally understand how frustrating it must be for people to touch the cutlery with bare hands, spreading their germs all over the place. The spoon scoop – now that we come to think about it - sounds like a great idea!
Faster than when you buy online?

OK, we are not sure what is happening here exactly. However, the interior of this cubicle definitely tells a different story than the one of the exterior- much to everyone’s disappointment, we assume! It is nice, though, to have a cubicle that is unique and nothing like the rest of the others that, let’s face it, are quite dull. So, either this employee needed to freshen up his air or maybe this is a prank by the rest of his co-workers. Or it could be that this is the employee responsible for arranging the delivery of takeaway food in the office?
Is this covered by a business insurance?

No matter what your health insurance is, you should never be on a building where you are not aware of its evacuation plan, much more if we are talking about your job’s premises where you spend most of your time on a daily basis. We want to believe that the evacuation plan is not there due to an update or a malfunction while the copy was laminated but it's quite amusing when you read this post that reads “run!" It is funny, sarcastic and a great way for an employee to remind the management of what they should have done. It is not a great evacuation plan, though...
A cubicle or a cage?

We have to admit that if we came at work on a Monday morning only to find our office decorated like this, we do not really know what our reaction would be. We might freak out at all these Nicolas Cage photos – no matter how much we find him to be a talented actor - or we would burst to laughs after an awkward smile! We don’t know what this employee did to deserve this décor. Our bet is that the person is actually obsessed with Nicolas Cage and so some colleagues thought of pranking him about it or that his actual name is Nicolas and they are teasing him. We can only speculate...
The post-it prank that must've cost a lot of money!

We are loving this! This office has been decorated so perfectly that we cannot fathom who could spend all this time in creating such a state of the art out of…post-its! There is no way this would not brighten everyone’s day –especially if it was a Monday and this is what you find in your office first thing in the morning! The colors, the order, the aesthetics; we love it all and this possibly means that we might need to ask a doctor about the symptoms of an OCD! No matter, this is probably the works of a colleague who is fed up being asked for a spare post-it!
