Mike Tyson – Tiger

Mike Tyson has been a popular name in the boxing scene since the mid-1980s. Tyson had a huge fortune during the peak of his career and this allowed him to become an owner of three Royal Bengal Tigers. Tyson spent around $100K for the tigers and he shelled out even more money on their daily meals and training. Sadly, the tigers were later taken away from him because he was not licensed to own them. The tigers were later placed in a shelter somewhere in Colorado. In case you did not know it, one of the tigers appeared with Tyson on The Hangover.

Leonardo DiCaprio - African Spurred Tortoise

Since 2010, talented actor Leonardo DiCaprio has been an owner of an African spurred tortoise. The tortoise was said to have cost DiCaprio around $400 but this was nothing to him since he has millions in the bank. Such tortoises can get really heavy; some even reach a weight of 200 pounds! Its lifespan is also said to be around 80 years. We are sure DiCaprio knows how to take good care of his tortoise since he does a lot of environmental and wildlife activism work. DiCaprio will be starring in a new movie titled Once Upon a Time in Hollywood in 2019.

Audrey Hepburn – A Fawn

In the movie titled Green Mansions which aired back in 1959, actress Audrey Hepburn had to act alongside a fawn. So that the young deer would learn how to follow Hepburn, Hepburn had to take care of the deer even when they are not filming so it could be comfortable with her. Hepburn named the deer Pippin and they instantly became best friends. Pippin was very spoiled for it had a customized bathtub to sleep in. Hepburn would even bring Pippin with her to the supermarket. Hepburn died in 1993 due to appendiceal cancer.

Kirstie Alley - Lemurs

Actress Kirstie Alley does not own just one exotic pet for she actually managed to have her mini exotic animal collection in her home. Alley reportedly has fourteen ring-tailed lemurs. But as she had a very busy schedule, she was unable to take care of her lemurs 24/7. She later had to spend extra money to hire caretakers for her lemurs. Alley is best known for her roles on Cheers, Veronica's Closet, and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. In 2018, Alley was a contestant on Celebrity Big Brother.

Kristen Stewart - Wolf-Hybrids

Kristen Stewart was surrounded by wolves in the Twilight movies but it seems like this is also true for her in real life. Stewart apparently had wolf hybrids growing up because her mother chose to have them as pets. Of course, Stewart lives a busy life as an actress these days so she can't really have a pet wolf now. Her mother still takes care of four wolves and Stewart often visits them in their property in Santa Monica. In 2019, Stewart will be starring in new movies like Charlie's Angels and Against All Enemies.

George Clooney - Pig

George Clooney is one of the most handsome heartthrobs in the Hollywood scene. You might end up falling in love with him, even more, when you find out that he loves animals. When he was younger and still sported funky hairstyles, Clooney actually had a pet pig which he named Max. The pig was a gift to him from ex-girlfriend Kelly Preston. For eighteen years, Clooney and Max were the best of friends and Max would even accompany Clooney to his interviews at times. Sadly, Max passed away back in 2006. Clooney has an upcoming miniseries titled, Catch-22.

Paris Hilton - Kinkajou

Paris Hilton is known for having her cute little dogs as sidekicks but there was a time when she had an exotic animal for a pet. Hilton owned a pet kinkajou which she decided to call Baby Luv. A kinkajou has dangerous saliva and very sharp claws and Hilton had to learn how dangerous it was the hard way. Hilton actually once ended up in the hospital after Baby Luv bit her. It seems like Hilton is just sticking to dogs these days. In 2018, Hilton appeared as herself in the documentary called The American Meme.

Megan Fox - Pig

Megan Fox was once taking care of her very own pet pig. She named her Piggie Smalls and the two were very close to each other. Sadly, Fox did not end up keeping her pet pig and she later just gave him away. The reason why she gave the pig away was that he was getting too indecently aggressive. The pig would apparently just mount and get to business with anyone who came over their house! Let's hope the pig's new owners gave it the right animal care it needed. Fox will be appearing in two new movies titled Think Like A Dog and Zeroville.

Justin Bieber - Monkey

Another famous celebrity who was given an exotic animal as a gift was Justin Bieber. Bieber was able to receive a capuchin monkey from Jamal Mally Mall Rashid. Bieber later named his monkey OG Mally. He once brought his new pal with him when he went on tour in Germany back in 2013. Sadly, Bieber didn't have the right paperwork for the monkey so it got detained. Bieber never went back for the monkey and reports said that the monkey was having trouble "fitting in" in the zoo where it lives in these days. In 2018, Bieber tied the knot with the beautiful Hailey Baldwin.

Tori Spelling - Goats

Tori Spelling rose to fame back in the 1990s when she started appearing in the show, Beverly Hills, 90210. Spelling has been married to Dean McDermott since 2006 and the couple has pet goats. The first ever goat that they owned was named Totes McGoat. McDermott bought Spelling a second goat but they never revealed what they named it. The couple also owns a pet dog and pig which both benefit from top-notch animal care. Spelling's most recent role was in the 2018 TV film titled The Last Sharknado: It's About Time.

Hugh Hefner - Peacocks

The late Hugh Hefner was the man behind Playboy magazine. With the multi-million dollar net worth he had, he sure could have bought any kind of exotic animal that he wanted. In the Playboy Mansion, Hefner had a number of exotic pets. Hefner was allowed to have such pets since he had obtained a license for it. Peacocks were one of the eye-catching animals you could see in the mansion and Hefner once said in an interview that he thought about them a lot before he went to sleep. Hefner passed away in 2017 due to sepsis.

Steven Tyler - Raccoon

Steven Tyler is best known for being the frontman of the popular band, Aerosmith. He once revealed that he was a raccoon owner during his younger years. Raccoons might be "wild" when you see them in movies but that there are properly raised ones that act just like a pet dog or cat.  A pet raccoon won't create a mess because it's possible to litter-box train it. Tyler was so close to his pet raccoon that it would even accompany him every time he went fishing. Tyler and Aerosmith reportedly have a new Las Vegas residency show titled Deuces are Wild.

Nicolas Cage - Albino King Cobras

Nicolas Cage has been a household name in the industry since the 1980s. Cage truly got to grow a massive fortune but he had very poor wealth management. For instance, Cage would just buy anything and everything he wanted even if he did not really need it. One of the crazy purchases he made was when he bought two albino king cobras. Cage named them Sheba and Moby and some reports said that the Cobras were there to protect him while there were also some rumors that he used them for indecent activities. In 2019, Cage will be appearing in six new movies.

Michael Jackson – Chimpanzee

Back in the early 1980s, Michael Jackson decided to buy himself a pet chimpanzee and he later named him Bubbles. Bubbles actually got to go on tour with Jackson. Bubbles and Jackson even sat down with the mayor of Osaka and had some tea together. Bubbles was staying in Jackson's Neverland Ranch property during the 1980s and reports said that he used the same bedroom and bathroom as Jackson. When the chimp got too big already, Jackson had to let him go and he started living at the Center for Great Apes. A cardiac arrest ended Jackson's life back in 2009 at the age of 50.

Elvis Presley – Wallaby

Did you ever think anyone would be taking care of a pet wallaby in their home? Well, King of Rock and Roll Elvis Presley was apparently a pet wallaby owner. Well, he did not really go out of his way to buy one for somebody just apparently gifted him one. As you can see, Presley was even photographed with his pet wallaby. Presley did not plan on keeping the wallaby in his home for long and he later donated the animal to a zoo in Memphis. Presley passed away back in 1977 due to a heart attack.

Charlie Sheen - Chinese Water Dragon

Charlie Sheen is an actor who has been appearing in movies and shows since the 1980s. Sheen is probably not the best pet owner since his lack of proper animal care in the past had led to the deaths of a number of his pets. One of the pets Sheen had was a Chinese water dragon which was named Hopper Jr. Sadly, the water dragon died because it was not being taken care of properly. Sheen also had a dog and bearded dragon that passed away. Sheen starred in Lil Pump's music video for his single titled Drug Addicts, in 2018.

Tippi Hedren - Lion

Tippi Hedren has always loved animals and has devoted a lot of her time in wildlife activism. Back in the 1970s, Hedren decided to have a lion as a pet after her encounters with lions while filming in Africa. Neil was the name of the 400-pound lion Hedren had in her home. Even if she had good times with her pet lion, they were still dangerous and her daughter Melanie Griffith ended up in the hospital once after she got clawed by the lion. Hedren's lion was eventually transferred to a sanctuary. In 2018, Hedren starred in Gucci's Fortune Teller commercial.

 

Vanilla Ice - Kangaroo

Vanilla Ice is best known for being the rapper behind popular songs like Play The Funky Music and Ice Ice Baby. Vanilla Ice once owned a pet kangaroo which he called Bucky Buckaroo. When Bucky was a baby, he would just hop around Ice's whole house. Bucky would wear his own diaper so he does not create a mess. When Bucky became a full-grown kangaroo, Ice later moved him to a farm. Bucky even escaped his enclosure once but was fortunately found. Sadly, sources say that Bucky is gone now. Ice has been hosting his own show titled The Vanilla Ice Project since 2009.

John Quincy Adams - Alligator

Back in the 1820s, John Quincy Adams was the man who served as the 6th President of the United States. While more recent U.S. Presidents owned dogs, Adams was different because he had an alligator in the White House. Marquis de Lafayette was the one who gifted him with the reptile and it was kept in one of the bathrooms of the White House. As you can see in the photo above, the alligator was even given walks on a leash. There are children's books being sold that are all about Adams' pet alligator. Adams died in 1848 due to cerebral hemorrhage.

Salvador Dali - Ocelot

Salvador Dali was a surrealist and artist who was best remembered for being the man behind the Persistence of Memory painting. Dali was another guy who liked exotic pets and he, in fact, had a wildcat named Babou. Babou was an ocelot and he would accompany Dali everywhere. Dali would even bring Babou to dine with him and would treat him just like any other domestic cat. Dali clearly trained Babou well since he never ended up getting medical treatment because of his pet. Dali died in 1989 of heart failure.

David Beckham - Micro Pigs

David and Victoria Beckham are such a power couple and a lot of people have been mesmerized by how much they love each other. These two are quite thoughtful and they can get creative when it comes to gift giving. Back in 2009, David was quite shocked with the Christmas gift Victoria gave him because these were two micro pigs! The couple later named the pigs Elton John and David Furnish. The pigs were said to be worth more than $2K. Since May 2018, David has been the British Fashion Council's new Ambassadorial President.

Reese Witherspoon - Miniature Donkeys

Reese Witherspoon is a talented actress who is best known for the roles she had on Sweet home Alabama, Election, and the Legally Blonde movies. When Witherspoon visited a farm owned by her friend once, she had her first encounter with miniature donkeys and this later led to her wanting to keep them as pets. Witherspoon then purchased two miniature donkeys and the names she gave them were Honky and Tonky. Witherspoon has made sure that her kids know proper animal care and so she's taught them how to clean their stalls. Witherspoon will be producing and starring in the new Legally Blonde 3 movie.

Nicole Kidman - Alpacas

Nicole Kidman has been a popular actress in the Hollywood scene since the 1990s. When Kidman was asked once regarding her favorite thing about her property in Australia, her answer was her pet alpacas. Kidman apparently owns four of them with husband Keith Urban. The couple decided to get the alpacas as pets back in 2009. Kidman apparently loved their pretty eyelashes and long necks. She also loves how gentle her alpacas are. Kidman is already 51 years old and is still busy with her acting career. She has an upcoming movie titled, The Goldfinch.

Miley Cyrus - Pig

Miley Cyrus loves animals so much and she has a lot of pets in her home. Aside from having a number of cats and dogs, Cyrus also has a cute pet pig. The pig was once called Bubba Sue but Cyrus decided to call the pig, "pig." Cyrus said in an interview once that she and her pig shared the same love for vegetables. The pig was also given a bacon costume during Halloween once. These days, Pig is quite big already and can't be carried anywhere. Cyrus officially tied the knot with actor Liam Hemsworth in December 2018.

Josephine Baker - Leopard

Josephine Baker was a beautiful and talented entertainer who rose to fame back in the 1920s. Baker was best remembered for her Un vent de folie performance in 1927. She was always known for wearing daring outfits that highlighted her amazing figure. Her pet of choice was a leopard and she named it Chiquita. Baker was always seen wearing beautiful dresses while she casually took Chiquita out for a walk. The public was shocked to see Baker and her exotic pet but Chiquita was never really wild in public. Baker died of cerebral hemorrhage in 1975.

Slash - Snakes

Snakes are not that uncommon anymore since a lot of people from all over the world choose to have snakes as pets. Of course, snake owners should always have a nearby vet or ambulance on-call in case an emergency happens with the snake.  Slash from Guns N' Roses is a celebrity who loves reptiles and he loves having snakes as a pet. His snakes even appear on some of the photoshoots and music videos he had in the past. In 2018, Slash released a new album called Living the Dream.

Dan Bilzerian - Goat

Dan Bilzerian is a very popular Internet personality and Social Media superstar who is known for his overly luxurious lifestyle. Aside from having the best in life and being surrounded by beautiful women on a daily basis, Bilzerian is also known for his love for exotic pets. Bilzerian is an owner of two goats, one of which is named Zeus. Zeus' headshot was actually painted on the tail of Bilzerian's private jet. A lot of his other big boy toys also sport the goat logo. Bilzerian successfully joined the Armenian Armed Forces in August 2018. His current fortune is estimated to be at $150 million.

Rupert Grint - Teacup Pigs

Rupert Grint is best known for playing Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter movies. There was once a trend in the UK where people were fond of having teacup pigs as pets. Grint hopped on the bandwagon and bought himself two teacup pigs but some reports said that he was fooled and given normal pigs. Teacup pigs cost a lot of money for they are worth around $1.1K. Grint's pigs, Oscar and Stanley, did not stay small forever and got quite big at one point so he had to make them live outdoors. Sadly, Oscar died in 2010. Grint starred in the three-part miniseries called The ABC Murders, in December 2018.

The Kardashian Sisters - Monkey

During an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians back then, the Kardashians were seen playing with a pet monkey that they later named Suzy. Suzy was apparently a gift to Kris Jenner in 2009 but they did not keep the monkey as a pet for long because it wasn't easy to take care of it. Kim ended up on some celebrity news sites once after she was called out for posting photos with Suzy during the time when someone from Connecticut was attacked by a monkey. Kim and Kourtney made headlines again in 2018 when PETA called them out for posting videos with some marmoset monkeys.

Tyga - Tiger

Tyga, like all rappers in the music scene, is known for living a lavish lifestyle, thanks to the multi-million dollar earnings he makes every year. Tyga is not shy to flaunt his wealth and you can often see his pricey possessions on his Social Media accounts. Tyga once posted a photo of him and his pet tiger which he named Maverick. Posting a photo of Maverick later led to people calling him out for having a pet tiger in California. Owning a tiger in California is not allowed so Tyga's feline friend was later transferred to a safe facility. Tyga released a new album titled Kyoto in 2018.

Siegfried & Roy - White Tigers

Siegfried and Roy were popular magicians who performed as a duo. Their acts were very unique because they performed with white tigers and white lions. The duo had a very popular show called Siegfried & Roy at the Mirage Resort and Casino. During one of their shows in 2003, Montercore, their white tiger, attacked Roy and Roy faced a severe injury. Roy's doctors told him he won't ever get to do magic, talk, or walk but he later proved them wrong and was able to recover. Montecore passed away in 2014. The duo confirmed in 2016 that a biopic about them is in the works.

Grace Coolidge - Raccoon

Grace Coolidge was best remembered for being the wife of Calvin Coolidge. Calvin was the 30th President of the United States from 1923 until 1929. The couple was once supposed to have a raccoon for dinner during Thanksgiving in 1926 but they later decided to keep it as a pet. They later named the raccoon Rebecca and she was very spoiled by her owners. Rebecca reportedly loved eating eggs, persimmons, and shrimp. Rebecca would also roam freely in the White House. After Coolidge's term had ended, Rebecca was transferred to the National Zoo which was formerly the Rock Creek Park. Grace died in 1957 at the age of 78.

Terry Bradshaw - Horse

Terry Bradshaw is best known for the career he had with the Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL. Bradshaw is a four-time Super Bowl champion and was named a Super Bowl MVP twice in his career. Bradshaw loves horses and he was raising a number of horses in a ranch property he owned in Oklahoma. Aside from horses, Bradshaw also had pigs and cattle in the ranch. The ranch was placed on the market in 2012 with an asking price of $10.8 million. Failing to find a buyer, the price was later brought down to $9.95 million. In 2018, Bradshaw hosted NFL Thursday Night Football.
