If you have ever had any illusions that celebrities are just like you and me, you are about to let go of them. Before you is a list of the most lavish celebrity houses which include Prince Harry's surprising new mega-mansion, John Travolta's humble airfield, and many more.

Well, since we’ve cleared that out, it’s time for us to show you some of the most luxurious pads out there, then make sure to stay with us until the end of the list. So, are you ready to be blown away?

Michael Jordan - $15 Million, Chicago

For one of the greatest basketball legends, no price is too high when it comes to lavish living. And if you ask us, this $15-million deluxe mansion is more than a fit for the NBA superstar. In addition to an outdoor basketball court, and a gym, the Chicago real estate features a wine cellar and a wooden man cave with huge TV screens, card games tables, and a bar. And if you ever get lucky as to enter the famous gate with Jordan’s iconic jersey number 23, you’ll see a tennis court, ponds, pools, and lush green lawns. His wealth management advisor must just be awed.

Dwight Howard – $12.5 Million, Atlanta

Dwight Howard's estate has 11,025 square feet of living space, there's a master suite that takes up an entire side of the house. Other luxurious things to be found there are an elevator, private wine-tasting room, home cinema, snooker room and a pool with 3 beach entries, waterfalls, a river, swim-through cave and hot tub.

Howard now plays for the Washington Wizards. The center started playing in the NBA in 2004. Howard has been ranked many times through the years as one of the best in the league in rebounds, blocks, and field goal %.

Shaquille O'Neal - $28 Million, Orlando

28,000,000$ - That's all you need to become the new owner of Shaq's Orlando estate. In the mansion, you'll find a basketball court, a large swimming pool, an Egyptian themed room with an impressive looking fish tank…and there's also a truck attached to one of the walls.

It has 12 bedrooms and 15 bathrooms so no need to fight about who gets into the shower first in the morning. The house also has a Superman theme (Shaq's nickname when he was playing was Superman) and a life-sized statue of Superman can be found there.

Kawhi Leonard – $13.3 Million, Rancho Santa Fe

In January 2019, we learned that the professional basketball player Kawhi Leonard dropped $13.3 million on a new residence located in Rancho Santa Fe. The Toronto Raptors player clearly didn’t hesitate when he saw this luxury house for sale in Southern California in the San Diego neighborhood. The house is absolutely stunning and includes a dry bar, a home theater, and a swimming pool so big that we are not even sure we can call it that. There are also two offices and a gourmet kitchen in Kawhi’s new luxurious home.

Kevin Durant – $12.05 Million, Malibu

NBA stars are known for their expensive taste and lavish real estate and Kevin Durant is not an exception. His $12.05 million Malibu home can make anyone jealous. In 2018, Durant decided to put some roots in Southern California so he purchased this stunning oceanside mansion with four bedrooms and six bathrooms. The house was reportedly fully renovated in 2013 and includes a gym, an elevator, and a theater. Now he gets to spend his leisure time in his new 5,136-square-foot residence which is an automated smart house by the way.

Tristan Thompson – $1.9 Million, Cleveland

NBA star Tristan Thompson purchased this lovely modest home back in 2015 for $1.9 million and it's where he settled in with the mother of his child, reality television star Khloe Kardashian. Khloe gave birth to their daughter True in 2018.

The Kardashian family is used to living in far more luxurious homes so we have to say we were a bit surprised to see KoKo in this simple home. Khloe reportedly said she feels less judged and more peaceful in Cleveland. The very spacious real estate features five bedrooms and seven bathrooms so there's plenty of room for their family of 3.

Tucker Carlson - $2.2 Million, Washington, D.C.

Fox News' political commentator Tucker Carlson previously lived in a Colonial-style home in Washington, D.C. He had purchased this 4,784-square-foot residence for him, his wife Susan, and their four children, back in 2011. The suburban house was a paradise for little kids due to its endless space.

It is a recently renovated abode in the Kent neighborhood, famous for its seven bedrooms, five bathrooms, and one-half bath. Owing to his career's requirement to move to New York, Carlson decided to sell the deluxe house for $2.2 million, a sum which nicely added to his $22 million fortune.

John Travolta - $12 Million, Florida

As one of the biggest movie stars in Hollywood with a $170-million net worth, John Travolta cannot afford wasting his time at public airports. Well, he doesn't worry about that since he has one in his backyard! Yes, you read that right, Travolta’s $12-million Florida mansion is an actual airport complete with a landing strip, airplane hangars, and some private jets, of course.

We were all shocked when in 2010 he almost crashed with another plane at Washington Airport when his aircraft's electrical system stopped responding. His huge house has more luxurious stuff in it though! There's also a golf course and a 16-car garage. Impressed?

Britney Spears - $9 Million, California

Despite all the controversies, Brit is still one of the top earners in the industry with a $200-million net worth. She was ready to blow serious cash for a luxurious 13,264-square-foot California mansion. The five-bedroom, eight-bathroom, Italian Villa, surrounded by a picturesque landscape, fountains, and pools.

It features a media & gaming room, three kitchens, and a vast guest area. There's also an outdoor spa, tennis court, golf course, and a beautiful gazebo. If we ignore the steep monthly premiums, this may well be a dream house anyone could ever wish for.

Drake - $7.7 Million, Hidden Hills

In addition to an insane car collection, Drake has at least one lavish estate to his name. And even though rumor has it that the rapper fell in love the first time he saw it, he wasn’t ready to splurge $27 million which was the asking price for his Hidden Hills mansion at the time.

Luckily, his waiting paid off big time, since Drake eventually picked up the outlandish property for “only” $7.7 million, saving a significant amount. Besides man-cave-type rooms with a few secret passages, the lustrous house boasts a set of sparkling pools and waterfalls.

Katy Perry - $4 Million, L.A.

While Katy Perry’s eccentric fashion choices may not be everyone’s cup of tea, her formerly owned California mansion is a different story. The 4,700-square-foot Mediterranean-style villa was estimated at $4 million, which was just a pocket change for the California Girl’s $280 million fortune.

Aside from four bedrooms, and five bathrooms, the estate offers a stunning view and a huge swimming pool. And did we mention that Katy’s gigantic closet-room used to be a 3-car garage?  Unfortunately, following her split from Brand Russell, Perry decided to sell the place in 2018.

Chris Evans - $3.5 Million, Hollywood Hills

As we are doing a second job to pay off the premiums for our tiny flats, Chris Evans is apparently living the bi-coastal life, spending half of the year in his Boston pad, and another half in his L.A. mansion. Lucky for us, we won’t be the ones to pay for such insane expenses.

Anyway, while filming his movies, Evan’s home is this 4,599-square-foot property tucked away in Hollywood Hills. The renovated estate includes a master bedroom complete with a dressing room, steam shower, and floor-to-ceiling windows, a huge fire pit, and a pool with a spa in the backyard.

Kanye West - $20 Million, Hidden Hills

Kanye West has bent over backward renovating the $20-million Hidden Hills mansion to please Kim – even renovating the master bedroom five times! But, that house has lost Kim’s attention. Now, her eye is on Spelling Manor in L.A., which is a $200-million real estate mammoth.

It has a staggering 123 rooms, a tennis court, and a bowling alley! But Kanye’s barely coming by with the $20-million home, not to mention that he finds the Spelling Mansion ‘tacky.' Whew, tough one.  We assume though that it won't be a problem for West's $250 million fortune eventually.

David Blaine – $2.27 Million, New York

American born David Blaine is a professional magician, illusionist and ‘endurance artist’. He rose to mainstream fame through his eminent endurance feats which also lead him to make and break numerous prestigious world records. He is the first magician to introduce and awe fans with his ‘live magic’ tricks. Blaine’s fame through his unique profession has him boasting a huge net worth which includes his $2.5 million New York apartment which has glamorous high-gloss black onyx floor tiles which also cover the corner living room that has plain white walls, a traditional wood-burning fireplace, and open city views through a wide range of windows on two walls and the smartly arranged kitchen is convenient and compact.

Halle Berry - $8 Million, Malibu

Even after 13 years, Halle Berry is not willing to let go of her stunning Malibu mansion. And after taking a peek at the property, we definitely understand why - that place is a true paradise on earth! Besides the incredible view of the ocean and an easy access to the beach, the 5,000-square-foot real estate offers four bedrooms, five baths, and an outdoor Jacuzzi spa. We certainly wouldn’t mind having a luxurious beach like this one if only we had enough money in our bank account for the sky-high home insurance and property taxes.

Heidi Klum - $24 Million, L.A.

It turns out that Heidi Klum owns a house almost as beautiful as she is. Located in L.A., the 12,300-square-foot Italian-inspired villa features eight bedrooms, ten bathrooms, fountains, gazebos, crystal-clear swimming pools, a spa, golf course, hiking trails, and a kids’ playhouse.

The property is stylishly decorated to fit the supermodel’s high standards. However, Heidi reportedly bought a new home in Bel Air, worth some $10M. It is said to be a Heorgian-style mansion previously owned by Ed Weinberger, a prominent writer, and producer. IT is still unclear where Heidi intends to make her permanent residence if she intends on doing so at all.

Ben Stiller - $11.5 Million, Los Angeles

Guess who sold his Los Angeles luxury home? Comedic actor Ben Stiller and he asked for $11.5 million in exchange for his stunning villa-style Hollywood property. The lucky buyer received access to a stylish exterior, a swimming pool, and a private home theater.

Shortly after divorcing his wife of 17 years, Christine Taylor, Stiller, who starred in Meet the Fockers, was ready to make yet another big change in his life. He left the movie industry behind to star on Broadway. He now resides in a $15 million West Village home.

Goldie Hawn & Kurt Russell - $6.9 Million, California

In 2017, Kurt Russell managed to sell his home in Pacific Palisades for $6.9 million! Even though his and his partner Goldie's asking price was at $7.25 million, it was in no way a bad deal given that he had acquired the house in 2004 for just over $4 million.

The deluxe house had five bedrooms, five bathrooms, and over 6,400 square feet of space. Their old house in Malibu has also just been put up for sale in March 2019, with an asking price of $13.5 million.  Kurt's latest movie appearance was in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood and the movie was received very positively by audiences and critics alike.

Alan Jackson – $28 Million, Tennessee

American singer and songwriter, Alan Jackson, decided to sell his massive 135-acre property in Tennessee, back in 2010. The buyers were required to gather a whopping $28 million to acquire the 1997-built mansion, but we don't think they regretted their decision for one single day. The lucky buyers now have access to a perfectly designed 18,622 square feet mansion with 3 floors, a home theater, a custom pub, and a gourmet kitchen. Outside, the luxury continues. The property includes a 10-acre natural lake, a swimming pool, a boathouse, a barn, as well as, a large garage.

Since then Murphy made some lavish renovations in order to turn it into a personal resort in total worth of $85 million. The huge Mention spreads across 16 acres, with a total of nine bedrooms, 32 rooms, state of the art swimming pools, and a guest house in the size of a medium house. Murphy's latest work on the silver screen was in the 2019 film Dolemite Is My Name, where he also served as an executive producer.

Celine Dion - $65 Million, Florida

Thanks to her angelic voice, millions of albums sold, and probably an excellent financial advisor, Celine amassed a $380-million net worth. So, we should probably assume that the second-highest earning musician in history didn’t need a credit builder loan to own her $65-million Florida Water Park mansion. The 10,000-square-foot property has eight bedrooms, media room, massage room, dining areas, tennis, basketball, and croquet courts, pools, and water slides. Jonathan Scott has a really good deal going with his brother Drew Scott. As co-stars of the television program, Property Brothers, the duo get to re-do other people's homes, making their dreams come true. So when they decided to build their Las Vegas home, they went all out. That property boasts a pool house, guesthouse, outdoor theater, swimming pool, and a sports center. The renovations and decorations on the completed job put the house's estimated value at over $10 million. But Jonathan won't have Jacinta Kuznetsov to enjoy it with him anymore, as the two broke up in April 2018. She's still, however, a development producer at Scott Brothers Entertainment.

Rihanna - $22 Million, Barbados

Up next, Rihanna and her Barbados tropical dream house. Overlooking the Caribbean Sea, and with a direct access to the beach, RiRi’s $22-million five-bedroom mansion is much more than another vacation house. The luxury property includes a gigantic outdoor swimming pool, gym, spa, golf course, tennis courts, and two docking yacht areas. We can’t skip mentioning that there’s also 24/7 service and security staff taking care of RiRi's safety and comfort. Still, we're curious about her house insurance, and what her financial advisor has to say.

Keira Knightley - $6 Million, New York

Back in 2015, Keira Knightley became the proud owner of a two-floor apartment located in Manhattan’s TriBeCa neighborhood. Modern, yet homey, the spacious 3,820-square-foot real estate boasts three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, 23-foot ceilings, as well as a 900-square-foot private patio. Jeff Franklin - $4 Million, San Francisco

Being huge Full House fans, we decided to check out what happened to the iconic San Francisco property. And guess what, the former home of the Tanner family found its place in Jeff Franklin’s real estate portfolio. Well, just how fitting is that? Anyway, the creator of one of the most popular sitcoms during the ‘90s snapped up the property in 2016, and the first thing he did was to paint the door red. So, after some renovation, the mansion now looks exactly like you remember it. While its market value is estimated at $4 million, its sentimental value is priceless.

Hayden Panettiere - $2.1 Million, Nashville

Offscreen, Hollywood star Hayden Panettiere finds a well-needed peace and quiet in her cozy Nashville dream house. From rustic elements to childhood memorabilia, the real estate is filled to the brim with personal touches - and that's why Hayden prefers calling her $2.1-million luxury house a home. Perfectly designed by Benjamin Vandiver, the property boasts a large kitchen, a stunning living room complete with a bookcase, and also a music room to store all her guitars. And she probably needed an additional (online) banking account to store her $15-million fortune.

John Krasinski & Emily Blunt - $6 Million, Brooklyn

Our next mansion is so stunning that it made the film and TV actors John Krasinski and Emily Blunt leave Hollywood for it. The 5,200-square-foot townhouse set in Brooklyn’s historic Park Slope features six bedrooms that can well be classified as suites, a fully equipped modern kitchen, wooden dining room, and children's rooms. But before they even moved in, the duo reportedly took more than $300K from their savings account to add a bit of a modern flair to it, while still keeping its French Renaissance Revival-style.

Seth Meyers - $7 Million, Greenwich Village

Hosting the Late Night show has earned Seth Meyers $12 million in net worth and an opportunity to pick up a two-story Greenwich Village duplex. He may have needed a huge bank loan though since this luxurious real estate had cost him around $7 million. OK, you are probably dying to know what he got for all that money. Apparently, Seth got a 3,000-square-foot of living space, including five bedrooms, four bedrooms, a home office, and thirty-two windows looking out to the Empire State Building and the Hudson River. Well, not bad at all, if you ask us.

Since Aguilera’s L.A. mansion had been featured in a number of design magazines, it must be on our list, too. Besides a walk-in closet-room and enough space for her vast collection of designer shoes, the 11,000-square-foot mansion boasts a recording studio, game and arcade rooms, complete with all her kids’ fave arcade games, and pinball machines. We're wondering just how high the property tax is for such a lavish home.

The five-bedroom unit offers a stunning ocean view from a spacious terrace, a large dining area, gym, spa, and pools. On the outside of the 4,140-square-foot property, there’s a private garden and green areas, but also a Fugo bar. The home insurance for this A-list property must be through-the-roof!

When it came time for Amy Robarch to look for a house in New York City with her husband Andrew Shue, one place in particular stuck out the most. They were seen viewing this beautiful apartment in Chelsea, Manhattan. The house featured large windows with beautiful views, walls of exposed brick and wooden beams. It had three bedrooms, a study, and a spacious laundry room. Taking up over 3.200 square feet of space, its price of $4.29 million was justified. Tommy Hilfiger - $27.5 Million, Florida

In addition to four bedrooms, and three bathrooms, the deluxe house includes a recording studio, entertainment room, large swimming pool, fireplace, and so much more. Another perk of the 4,000-square-foot pad is that it's secluded since it’s the only house in the whole street.
